Oral Bioscience Essay Prize
ABSTD is pleased to announce a new essay competition which will be open to undergraduate or equivalent students in programmes leading to a University Degree in Dentistry, Dental Therapy and Hygiene, Dental Technology or equivalent disciplines in recognised dental schools. The competition will be run bi-annually. The rules can be seen by following this link. The title of the essay for the first competition together with further details will be posted on this website at the start of the forthcoming academic year in September.
Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE) Draft Curriculum in the Biomedical Sciences for Dental Programmes – August 2016
This document may be viewed by following this link . It will be tabled for discussion at a Special Interest Group (SIGT-02: ‘Biomedical Sciences in Dentistry: Developing a Contemporary Core Curriculum’) to be held at the forthcoming ADEE meeting in Barcelona and any comments would be most welcome. These may be submitted either electronically in advance of, or verbally at the meeting. Correspondence details are given in the document and some introductory notes for those attending SIGT -02 are also available.
The Association welcomes applications for membership from clinicians, basic scientists and others interested in the role and delivery of basic science education in the dental curriculum.
